The feelings this book gave me are all over the place. I felt that the first 75% of the book was boring. I felt that there were a few chapters that were unnecessary. I understand why she put this perspective in there, I just didn't care about the characters.
Then towards the end I couldn't put it down.

As always beautifully written and I can't wait to read the last book and find out how it all ends.

I feel bad. I really wanted to like this book but I just didn't.
I will say it was written beautifully but it just drag out for me. At times I want they can just "come on, let's get this over with."

The characters are what made the story for me. I really didn't understand the magic system and how it worked. I just got more confused as the book went.
But the characters were everything. I just loved them so much. I loved their relationship with one another and their banter.
