This book was meh to me. I wish that we had got Verity's perspective during this book. I believed if we had her point of view then it would have made to story more fun.
It was okay. I loved the world building. I loved how the magic worked but that was it. The characters just okay. I didn't feel connected to them. I didn't really cared what happened to them.

This was my second time reading this book and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time.
I LOVE Thomas Cresswell so much. He was always there for Audrey and always believed in her and never underestimated her because she was a woman.
Audrey can be a little dense at times. Some of her decision making annoyed me at times.

This book was just middle of the road for me. This whole entire book was just so predictable. I knew that the main character was going to end up with that person. I knew that there was going to be a big battle at the end and I knew who was going to come out as victorious.
Overall, just an okay story but written well and I was still slightly entertained.

Wow, just wow. This book was a rollercoaster. That ending was amazing and I need to read the next book immediately.
I didn't care for the beginning that much. I found the games to be boring. Then that ENDING tho. 😮😮
