Snarky. Cute. I love the tone. I see why it got so popular, but I don't think I'll be running for the next in the series.

This was a fantastic second book! I, somewhat embarrassingly, read it all in one day. Wonderful intrigue and plot thickening, new characters and the return of even better old characters. SO much going on at once and with very well done pacing. I actually think the author did better with this book that with her first, which is not always the case. I am so excited to read the next one.

A really fun read. A great cast of characters that make you really want to like them. And I always love a book with a plucky and self-reliant female lead. and I enjoyed reading about them and getting into their stories and relationships. It was a really original story and I think the plot was well put together. A few parts fell flat: some dialogue and a bit too much showing and not enough telling in regards to parts of the relationships and storyline. But overall and enjoyable read that kept me interested and I am excited to start the next book.
