Wow. Really intense. Amazing imagination...almost a little too much for me at times with the details that seemed so scientific and specific that I almost couldn't keep up. The world created was just...so impressive. I didn't get as much connection with characters as I would have liked. I see that he tried to bring in the hukman emotions we all feel no matter the space or time, but in such a futuristic place it seemed to be too much to try for. I would really recommend it, but only if you are SciFi person because if not it will be too much.
This was super existential. Actually, looking back after a few months, I am not even 100% sure how much a really remember. Though I remember a suicide and a coming of age in retrospect by a man getting used to his old age and looking back at his life. I feel that it took effort to read this book, even though it was so short. However, it was very deep and thoughtful. I did enjoy it, but one has to be in the right mood to read it.
