“The world changes at night. Bad things from the beginning of the earth roam in the dark. We must always be safe on the isle by the time the sun falls into the sea.”

Thank you @NetGalley for this eARC of #LittleEve

I had such high hopes for this book, I enjoyed the previous book I read by the author well enough but this was just not it.

I’ve been racking my brain trying to give a little run down of the book and it’s not coming to me. Although the story came together in the end, getting there was painful. I didn’t care for the writing and chapters that are over an hour each stopped me from drawing my attention in.

My favourite part was probably the last two chapters. 😬

This one made me uncomfortable.
I mean I really don’t know what I was expecting going in, but this was a lot darker than the previous ones.
Did I still love it? Yes.
Am I going to keep reading the series? ABSOLUTELY

Thank you to @NetGalley for this eARC of #TheForeverWitness

After thirty years the murderer of a Canadian Couple was arrested. But with that showed a battle between Justice and the right to privacy.

If you’re familiar with true crime topics you’ll understand the battle these genealogy tests we can do at home have caused.

On to my thoughts.
This book read just like some of my favourite true crime podcasts and shows. The author did an amazing job in explaining things so everyone can understand and also including details of the evolution of DNA testing, definitely a well written and interesting case told by this author.

If you could relive a childhood summer would you?
That’s exactly what Camp Phenix does for. Your consciousness is transferred into your childhood clone. Just don’t forget about the camp ghost.

Okay, this was a fun book.
You live out the weeks of summer camp from two perspectives, one camper and one councillor.
Knowing who some of the adult characters were before transferring consciousness has you wondering how the summer will turn out. I kept questioning do they actually know where they are and what they are and choosing to ignore it OR they seriously don’t remember.

You’ll have to read it yourself to find out.

I would like to thank @NetGalley for this eARC of #TheGhostofDannyMcGee by Quinlan Grim! This book drops November 15th!

I just can’t. It’s not enjoyable.

Thank you Ashley for the eARC of this book.

Can I have a crush on a wolf man with a fluffy tail? Is this a thing? Because I’ve made it a thing.

I loved these two characters and the very real description of a full figured babe with the body positivity thrown in there.

How did you give me so many feelings in such a short amount of time?? Already can’t wait for the second one!

I went as far as the first stopping point for bookclub and it was painful.

Characters suck, writing is awful.
We as a bookclub decided not to continue because the majority didn’t enjoy what they read.

I can't even with this book, choose your own smut. It is absolutely ridiculous and I have no words.

I went into this book blind, I wasn't sure what to expect. But it wasn't this, even though I loved all of it.
This was a fresh take on a very real and relevant issue that is still going on in schools.
Could defiantly be a good book for high school students.
