A.S. King is one of those writers who pulls out the exact emotions to create the bigger punch. Vera's journey through her past and present is heartbreaking and we can't help but love her for wanting to survive. This is a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fun but I felt it was slow at parts and I had to push myself to finish it. The ending was delightful and worth the wait.
