Write Before Christmas by Julie Hammerle was a cute, older age, love after divorce tale. I loved the Meet Cute between Dani and Matt, followed up their first kiss. I enjoyed how Dani helped take care of but also support Matt in his writing endeavors. The conflict around Matt’s writing struggles and Dani exploring her new found single life created some page turning scenes. The intimacy that is explored between Matt and Dani was steamy and well written. I loved all the small town holiday moments. Overall, Write Before Christmas was a fantastic holiday romance that I loved!
Deck The Headlines by Teagan Hart pulled me into a small town dedicated to Christmas, and the romance that sparks between Cal and Ella. I loved all the imaginative holiday festivities that the characters reported on and even participated in. The enemies to lovers vibes created some amazing tension between Cal and Ella, and it was fun to watch them fall for each other. I was a bit curious how this romance could be such a long story, but when the mystery around Clarence’s sudden retirement comes into play, I got it! I was totally there for a bit of mystery along side the romance. I even came to love side characters, so much I was ready to jump into the second Hope Island Holiday Romance story. But when I found out it wouldn’t be any of the friends of Ella or Cal, this put a dampener on my need to instantly read the next book. I was really looking forward to seeing love between Ella’s friends blossom. Overall, I fell completely in love with Deck The Headlines and loved all the quirky small town vibes and romance development between Cal and Ella.
Midnight Confessions by J.L. Kenna took my by surprise and left me wanting more of her work. Aleck was the alphahole I didn't know I needed in my life. His gruff exterior just protects his sensitive side and once we dived into that, oh man were my feels pulled! I enjoyed Winter's sass and ability to stand up for herself and others. These two together had some serious chemistry that lead to very steamy scenes! Also Aleck's groveling definitely had me getting hungry and needing to make an emergency run for maple donuts! I had a fantastic time reading Midnight Confessions and can't wait to read the next book in the series.

The French Kiss by Lauren Landish was a seductive and entertaining read! I enjoyed how Simon was smitten with Autumn from the first moment he encountered her. Their banter was witty and so fun. I enjoyed how Simon opened up about his past and how it affects his present with Autumn and she was so accepting of him. Their secret trysts and adventures around Paris were so swoony and steamy. I loved this story and can't wait for more Lauren Landish books!
