Neat twist. I had forgotten the cliffhanger from the previous book, so this was an extra entertaining premise. I love this series

World War II era with not one strong female lead, but four of them. I love historical fiction books where the lives of the characters intertwine with each other and you get to read the story from their different perspectives.

I learned a ton that I didn't know about the lives of these two incredibly influential men. How they're different approaches and philosophies evolved as they gained more life experiences and how they both impacted the trajectory of the US civil rights movement.

This book was a good entry into both of their legacies and makes me want to dive in further to each of them.

I loved this book, didn't want it to end, and wished it could have been longer.

It reminded me a lot of "Discovery of Witches" - it flashes back to a similar time period, and of course has an incredibly strong female lead.

I didn't realize this was based in a true story until I got to the epilogue. Enjoyed Eliza's defiant, independent, entrepreneureal spirit and drive.

Sporty, racy, romantic, engaging and entertaining. An excellent, romance novel.

An excellent sequel to the first book. This series is just as playful as Darynda Jones' Charlie series, but is strong and intriguing and compelling all on its own - no super natural angles in this one. And I can't wait for the next book

Hilarious and touching at the same time. Loved it
