I think I'll like this book when I'm more in the head space to focus on it

I think it's amusing that this book was inspired by the author joking with her husband "what if I left you for a musician" and he encouraged her to write it as a book. 

May/December NSFW romance of a nearly 40 year old divorced single mother of a teenage girl dates a lead member of a boy band. I was entertained and also impressed by the Author's, narration of her own book. 

A few relays on this book that I didn't see coming and sets up a 4th book too. I'm enjoying this series. 

I love this format of historical fiction books that a ounce between two story lines - past and present that are seemingly unconnected and then connect. I became invested in both story lines and wanted them to keep going. Just wish the authors had included a author's note to talk about what was based on real historical events and what was made up. 

I liked this book more at the end than the beginning. I had a tough time keeping track of the various alien nations and how the were allied and opposed. 

3rd novel in the Stitch in Time series. This one follows Miranda who goes back in time instead of forwards. Mystery ensues, ghosts revenged. Ended more abruptly than I liked. 

Started slow with a lot of background and set up of family histories before the story finally gathered steam and started moving. Follows the lives of two families for a few generations. There's lawyer stuff, crime stuff, murder and prison. All the elements to expect in a good John Grisham novel. 

Not sure this is my thing. 

Mystery thriller with a time travel twist as a mother  inexplicably travels back in time to prevent a crime.
