I wish I had read a book like this when I was in junior high or high school. It's hard to teach empathy, but teaching through showing and modeling can be quite impactful. This book does just that.

It focuses on a young woman who was born with no arms and meets a young man with Tourettes. It let me see a lot of things I hadn't seen before about the experiences of a differently abled person.

Sarah's words are powerful and moving. She uses her story, her strength and her privilege to put a face to the fight for trans rights. I'm humbled that she shared so much so that I can learn about her trans experience.

Sarah narrates the audiobook herself and does an excellent job.

Captivating. If you're like me, you'll find bits of time during the day (and late into the night) to read this book once you start it. Historical fiction, some romance, some intrigue, lots of flash back and forward in time, and an excellent read.

A solid book in the Joanna Brady series. Murder, intrigue, and a little romance

This book will immediately draw you in and capture you. The characters are so vivid you'll think you know them and were part of their journey. Heart breaking and beautiful all at once.
