Ugh. I couldn't stand the style this persistent first person narration. I desperately wanted to get out of her head and couldn't. DNF

Short but sweet. I never saw the movie, but after reading this story, I can see that it could translate well to film.

Barbara Bush was an amazing woman. I learned a lot about her that I didn't know. The book is very well researched and written.

Really enjoyed this historical fiction novel with a touching mystery of a childhood romance. It was recommended to me by my wonderful friend, Betsy. I love learning about books that other friends have enjoyed.
