I didn't read the synopsis before I read this book. I just went on the recommendation of a friend. My lack of fore-knowledge about the book made all the twist and turns that much better. Highly recommend.

Be sure to read "The Feather Heist" on NPR's "This American Life" after you read this to hear a few of the voices from the story.

Oof. What an emotional ride. This book was so well written that I got completely sucked in. Incredibly powerful. I got anxious, I got sad, I yelled at the book, I even got some tears. It's impressive when a story can do that to you. Be prepared for feelings.

Incredibly original story. Takes a little while to get yourself oriented, but it's a fascinating ride.

I remember reading this in school when I was a kid. It's an excellent book, a quick read, and very interesting to reinterpret as an adult.

An interesting look at 5 leaders - how they drove themselves, how they inspired others, and how they lived. I wish that she'd chosen a more diverse set of people to highlight, but I appreciated and enjoyed the insights I gained.

I love a good detective novel. This one crossed over a bit with the Lincoln Lawyer series, which I also enjoyed.
