Cute, ridiculously quickly read. Probably should give it 3 stars, but the content and and setting deserves 4. There needs to be more stories about geeky girls who are the hero of the story.

Pretty fascinating insights into the Kennedy family, the societal views of people with mental disabilities during the first half of the 1900s, and how they evolved. Tragic and insightful story.

Enjoyed reading this book, and hearing about the grueling, rewarding, challenging, beautiful, seemingly impossible epic journey of the Appalachian Trail. I'm not ready to take a summer sabbatical to tackle it myself, but maybe one day, or maybe sections. In the meantime, I've gotta get myself out more for hikes. I miss the woods.
