Nonfiction murder mystery and some science /invention history, too. Learned a lot, as I knew nothing of this story, nor the history of how Marconi invented wireless.

A little jarring jumping back and forth between the two distinct stories, but interesting nonetheless. Good book

Didn't realize I downloaded the abridged audio book before I got on the airplane.. Oh well, it was still entertaining. Just don't try to analyze the book too much for realistic possibilities, seems a bit extreme in done situations, but maybe that was the abridged version's fault.

Looking forward to the next book in the series, though this time unabridged.

Neat ending to the trilogy. I think I liked it better than the hunger games. It has a lot of similar themes.

The book was ok. I want to read another one because I love the Outlander series so dearly. Maybe I'll like the next one better. Thus story just wasn't as compelling and engaging as I'd hoped.

I love historical fiction. This novel didn't disappoint. It takes place far back in history (1400's) to a time I was not familiar. I couldn't help but read about the characters (historical figures) on Wikipedia to learn what might happen next. Excited to read the other novels in the series.

Historical fiction, but based on real people with the details imagined (i didn't realize at the time that it was based on a true story). This was really neat to read, especially with all the Caribbean references (and my husband's family being from the Caribbean). The narration was great, especially Gloria Reuben.
