A light thriller, a bit predictable, but easy to follow. I recommend going in blind and enjoy solving the mystery. 

This is not a fun light book about teenage witches. Its a dark story about pregnant teenage girls who get sent to a home and filled into giving up their babies for adop9. Add in and magical realism and there's your premise. 

I didn't love most of this book. It's dark m it's not meant to be loved. I did appreciate how it ended, so for that it gets 4×

A light thriller with just the right amount of twists and unexpected turns. The story flashes between current time and the past, as an old woman recollects her life. 

A truly remarkable woman. Her memoir is poignantly written, authentically told and beautifully narrated. 

I'm often skeptical when an author chooses to narrate their own audiobook, but Ketanji Brown Jackson is a talented orator who's voice lands power to her story. 

Engaging. I could see this be turned into a TV movie. Follows the lives of two ice dancing athletes as they compete over 20ish years

I liked this one. It tied together the trilogy to the other prequel. This is the story of the 2nd quarter quell - Hamitch's origin story. 

Book 2 on the Silo series goes back in time to tell the story of how the world got to this point - the origin story of the major story lines from book 1. Cleverly told. 

On the border of a biography and historical fiction. This well-researched novel follows the life of Hattie McDaniel, the first Black woman to win an academy award. She struggled and persevered over and over again. An incredibly strong woman. 

Lots of twists and turns in this fast paced mystery that kept me on my toes. The book is written in the first person and the narrator/author regularly breaks down the 4th wall and speaks directly to the reader explaining things and foreshadowing. Cleverly written. 

I found this book very interesting. Lots of information I didn't know and perspectives I hadn't considered. Looking forward to reading other if the author's books to gain more insights.
