A strange book. Very slow for the first 9/10ths of the book and then sped up at the end. The book explains a lot of the origins of the Hunger Games, it's been years since I read them so will probably need to re-read the first book to make more of the connections.

I really enjoyed this book. The audiobook is well done and has multiple narrators, which is a nice experience.

Re-read this and enjoyed it more. It is short and dense and if your attention slips you'll miss something big. I ended up rewinding more than a few times, but the book is short so it was fine. Very fast paced and a bit abrupt. I like this robot it's challenged by itself and I find it endearing.

LGBTQ witches with modern politics and prejudices. Lots of things to make you angry but some to make you laugh too (witches loved the Spice Girls when they were teens, too). Looking forward to the rest of the series.
