A recommendation from my teenage daughter. A reflective story of a boy searching for his runaway neighbor - gets deep and makes you think. This was a good "read a few pages each night before bed" kind of book. 

Of course... The fact that it took me over a month to slowly read this book a few pages at a time could explain why I considered it "slow-paced" 

This is like an epic adventure novel that takes place in a business and political setting. Written in 1982, it takes place in across the lifetime of the main character from the 50s to the mid 90s so at the time it was written it was both historical fiction and futuristic.

I think this was one of the first Jeffrey Archer books I read years ago after being introduced to his  books by my mother when I was a teenager and really liked it then, and really like it now too. Stands on its own, but made even better when you read "Kane and Abel" first.

Very informative and well researched. You'll learn about what the people of the Netherlands experienced during WWII, how that experience impacted Audrey Hepburn and drove her become the ambassador to UNICEF. 

John Grisham is a masterful story teller. This story is tragic, compelling and hard to put down. Similar to the other books in this series that I read years ago. 

This story, paired with "Rosemary: the Hidden Kennedy Daughter" is an interesting insight into the Kennedy family and the political, religious and public pressures they faced in 1940s. Tragic. 

Excellent SciFi short story. 

Cute romance novel about a woman obsessed with romance novels. I appreciate they the book even makes fun of itself a bit for the use of standard romance tropes. 

Fast paced futuristic medical/genetic thriller. Pulled me in pretty immediately and had to finish it.
