Such a cute book. Teenagers, high school, LGBTQ, romance with a Southern homophobic backdrop and the strength to be themselves. Enjoyed this story.

This had a bit of a Star Fleet Academy vibe and I loved it. I just wish it was 3x longer. Glad there's a few more books in the series 

Meh. It was clever, I just couldn't get into it.

A deep mystery with cryptography and conspiracy and flashbacks. 

I think it might be easier to follow as a written book instead of an audiobook as you might want to reference back to some of the earlier parts when some of the mystery is revealed. 

An important story about highschool and bullying, racism, homophobia and cultural appropriation. My daughter recommended this to me and I'm glad she did. 

Witches at the turn of the century (late 1800s) in NYC. Factions, fighting, mystery, betrayal. Started really strong, but then I got a bit disinterested 

Just like a graphic novel can't really be captured by an audiobook, this music-interview-audiobook couldn't really be captured as a written book. 

This audiobook is wonderful capturing insightful thoughts and conversations between the authors and their subject, Paul Simon, and interspersed and layered with Simon's music. I'll definitely need to listen to it a 2nd time (to catch all the bits I missed the first time) and next time I'll read along with the liner notes. 

A really solid first book in a new-to-me series. Starts off strong and keeps up the drama, mystery and tension.

This reminded me a lot of a Fiona Davis novel, how it flashes between the storylines in a current-day young woman and one from the past. This focuses on the tragedy of the Johnstown flood of 1899. Well told.
