The premise of this book sounded interesting, and not having read the previous two books in the series, I expected to be a little behind on character development. This ended up being the case, but unfortunately, there was no character development. Eventually I went on to understand that the main character is a beautiful actress, one of the other dancers is a lesbian, one is super religious and one is some kind of Francophile. Why they're all dancing in this group and people hire them is beyond understanding. Then, one one of the main character's many dates (because of how irresistible she is) she makes an offhand comment, and they try to kill her. Wow. That was an anticlimax for discovering the source of the murder. The rest of the book was peppered with random French places, words and so forth, plus recipes. I was very disappointed. It wasn't hard to determine the murderer and his reasoning was lame. I would not recommend this book.
