As always, enjoyed the book more than the movie (and I did enjoy the movie)

So that scene in the movie... The one that's always bugged me because it's so rape-y... Totally not rape in the book. Not exactly a love story either, but consensual.

Really enjoyed the analysis of our human relationships with life and nurturing that life. Makes the observation of the owl in the movie a fun Easter egg but a really brief nod to a major part of the book.
