Slow start, then really pulls you in. I’m just not sure how I feel about the ending.

A quick, pull-you-in read. I appreciate learning about willowbrook and the author highlighting the awful conditions people experienced. But there were so many issues with the plot that didn’t seem plausible. Especially with the detective asking her to help so much? Why on earth would a detective ask her to look at murder victim (on the scene no less) to see if the wounds matched what she saw on someone else? Seems far-fetched.
