As a big RuneScape fan, I was hoping for good things from Betrayal at Falador. I even remember when it was originally released. But it was disappointing. The pacing is all over the place, and I feel like in trying to appeal to a broad demographic of players, it ends up being a mediocre piece of fiction. Oh, well.

Don’t bother. I’m a fan of the idea of organic gardening but this book is too focussed on ‘GMOs bad’, ‘fertiliser=poison’ and ‘get Monsanto out of your garden’.

I love the idea of growing organic vegetables but I don’t want my information to come in such a highly politicised way.

Enjoyable enough, I just found myself wishing that there were a few more details. I get that it's a book you dip in and out of, but a couple of pages per occasion just felt rather brief. Still, it doesn't stop it from being a pleasant enough book. If you want to learn more about history, this would likely be an easy way to spend an afternoon.

A great set of three short stories that give a real sense of Poe at his creative zenith. This book only costs 80 pence, and has around 50 pages, so it's definitely something you can read in an afternoon; you'll be so glad you did.

This short story is a wonderful inversion of the typical narrative and really makes you think about the way the world is; the standards to which people behave at present are farcical when foiled like this. Very good and a quick read too.

Definitely one of my favourite books of all time - a witty, realistic account of life for a thirtysomething singleton in London.

One of the greatest books I've read. A must-read for all, and definite food for thought.

This is a great book. Very engaging and really funny, a real pleasure to read.

A fantastic read. Funny and lighthearted but at times poignant and meaningful. A must read.
