What a powerful, well written, and well told story. The audiobook was perfection. Acevedo breathes life into her main character and her family. You can really feel the moments of joy, loss, and heartbreak as Xiomara steps into her own.

I'll be honest I mostly read it so I could see Sarah Andersen flex a different artistic style.
