This huge book is full of beautiful watercolor illustrations and some very nicely done poems about nature.

4.5 rounded up. This was a fun, creepy, and an adventurous read. Highly recommend the audiobook, it was well done.

What a wonderful debut, with writing that made me think of a Rachmaninoff concerto (music plays an important role in this one). I think I loved everything about this book, especially the fact that after listening to the audiobook I just wanted to read it again. I suppose that makes sense, there's a lot of gears moving...sometimes in different time periods across different parts of the universe. However, it was the characters with their complex personalities and stories that I adored most.

This was one beautiful graphic novel and I found so much of it incredibly relatable. The artwork packs a huge punch with some great symbolism. I found myself cracking up through a good portion right before it bore into my soul, in all the best ways.
