This was a tough and insightful read with some great advice to those going through this kind of relationship. The artwork is wonderful and often creates a stark juxtaposition with the topic. There were moments of dark humor I found incredibly relatable.

I love this world so much and this second book in the trilogy takes time to exam more closely the characters and dynamics I fell for in Black Sun. Serapio, gawd...all the damn feels. But every character really got to breathe, as the plot pushed storylines to unexpected places. Just when you think you know how things are going to unfold, there's a turn...a last minute thought or feeling expressed that changes everything.

I am, in no way going to be able to be unbiased in my opinion regarding anything Gadsby creates. I just have a blind love for her. Sorry not sorry 😆. At any rate, this was a great look at what went into creating Nanette, at times heavy but also light hearted.

This was just such a fun read. Loved the relationship between Crowley and Aziraphale, their banter was always a highlight. The four horsemen were great as well. Definitely a great story hitting on the subject of fate and choosing to be who you want to be in this life.

Second book in the series and it was just as fantastic as the first. Beautiful artwork with a heartfelt story and a great cast of characters.

This was a well written gothic tale told through the perspective of one troubled young girl. I enjoyed Jackson's writing here, it was more simplistic while still painting and developing characters in atmospheric dread.

I can relate to Lawson on many levels and hearing her tell these stories about her life is the best way to digest her craziness. I loved hearing her burst into laughter, which seriously, how do most people keep it together recording stuff like this for an audiobook?
