I don't really have words for how much this one affected me.
It was well written and the inner turmoil for Celaena was deeper than I was imagining. As the same goes for other characters.
This part of the series really helped build the characters into more dimensions. And it helped deepen the story to more than just "I will get revenge." It was simply amazing and I don't want to wait to read Queen of Shadows, but I have to because of school.

Overall, I enjoyed this. It was like a classic slasher film meets Mean Girls. Just enough suspense to keep me going and I finished it in 24 hours because of that.
The ending was expected and yet not in the way I fully imagined. It had a few nice twists that is making me want to run and buy the second book right now.
