I liked this book, but in the end I didn't find the central premise to be reasonable. Breach didn't seem to have any actual motivation; I don't understand what they would get out of continuing to enforce the separation, or how it could be continually maintained over centuries.
This book was pretty reminiscent of creepypasta, so if you like that kind of thing, you'll probably enjoy it. I do wish the denouement had been expanded a little more.
