Weird but oddly inspiring

i just finished and all I can say is 😭😭😭😭

I usually don't like these teen romance books, but this one was interesting. It focused on more than just the love between them and seemed more realistic in the way things happened. I liked it.

Wow, twist after twist after twist. They lead you to suspect so many people, everyone really, so as soon as you're convinced one person did it then it switches to another. Really good and suspenseful book.

Such an entrancing plot and such a unique way to write it. I love this book.

I liked the whole general idea of this book, it was really interesting and well thought-out, but it was just too boring for me. It seemed like I was waiting the whole time for the climax, or for them to fall in love (like the description says), but it never really seemed to happen. I loved the idea, the writing just wasn't really my style.

I love World War 2 books, and this one is one of the top ones I've read. It started out a bit slow, and I wasn't sure where it was going a lot of the time, but I loved the setup of the story and the ending was just stunningly heartbreaking (if that makes sense). I would recommend this book to all historical fiction readers and anyone else, really.

This is obviously one of those "write as many books about this one person as you can, no matter what it's about" kind of book, especially seeing as it's #15 in a series of books about a lawyer named Andy Carpenter. I like the sarcastic humor that is written throughout the book, it kind of distracts me from the fact that it was written like someone was forced to write it. The title is slightly deceiving because it doesn't focus much on Christmas or dogs. Though it does talk about dogs much more than Christmas, neither plays a substantial role in the story. The mystery was interesting, though, and had me hooked into wanting to know who was behind it all. When they first had a chapter from the point of view of the killer about halfway through the book, I was kind of disappointed that they gave it away to the readers so soon, but it ended up being much deeper than just that person so it ended up alright. The end is quite a twist, which is another thing about the story that I enjoyed, so I would recommend this book to people that enjoy a good mystery. But don't read it if you're only intrigued by the title.
