I only got this book because it was super popular and it has a really pretty cover. I had no idea what it was even about.
Usually I don't like romance, especially teen romance, but this story was kind of cute. I loved the contrast between a believer and a seer. Between fate and science. And the way they intermingled.
The ending just left me wanting more, just wanting to know what happened. I wanted more details and more happy endings.
I highly recommend this book to people that like authors like John Green, or who just like teen romance. I even kind of recommend it to anyone else who's just looking for something to read because this book really opens up your eyes and your point of view.

The beginning of the book just had so many cross-outs and metaphors that it was just confusing, but after that the story gets really good. I like the idea and the plot to about 9/10 of the way through, then it gets a little too X-Men.
I didn't think I would like it because I only read it because the movie's coming out soon, but it was actually really good. I wish there was more or a second book or something just to know what HAPPENED, but it's such a unique yet cliche book.
While it was an interesting plot, it was too boring.
I might not have liked it that much just because it's probably written for a lower reading level, like early to mid teen.

This book seemed very basic and boring for the first half, having such a common plot and love story. The third quarter of the book was refreshing and interesting and was my favorite part, but after that it got basic (but not boring) again with a similar story line to other YA fantasy books. It was still a really good and interesting read. I heard that the second one's better, so hopefully I'll read that soon!
I like the plot and storyline, but it ended just too basic. I needed a more realistic ending rather than a teen-romance-book ending. And the ending reminded me a lot of Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. Still a pretty good story, and I would like it a lot more if I liked teen romance books.
Very interesting and a really good story. The movie is VERY different, but they're both really good. I loved the way he scientifically explained vampires, but the writing was kind of boring at times. That's my only complaint though. I read this for class but I've been wanting to read it for a long time. I'm rambling a lot so I'm gonna stop now
p.s. Highly recommend. Much better than Twilight.

I'm glad I read this on my own time rather than being forced to read it for class or something, or I probably wouldn't have liked it as much.
