Enjoying this series a lot!

I enjoyed this mystery narrated by a deaf teenager; it was an interesting mystery as well as a peek into the life of a deaf student.

YOU SHOULD READ THIS ONE! Great book, and I love the way they told the story from so many different perspectives. I havent' seen the movie (and don't know if I want to) but the book is wonderful, and even if you think you know how it will end (without seeing the movie of course), You probably don't.

Loved this book! Filled with characters to Love, others to hate, to want to smack on the back of the head, and even a few who you thought you might hate, yet turned out to be one of the good ones! Excellent peek into the lives of those in the deep south in the 60's. I read this as an audio book and strongly recommend it. the readers were excellent. I didn't want to let these characters go!

As usual, much better than the movie!

I had no idea there was any connection to the Sword of Truth series when I got this one from the library, but enjoyed that connection! It was neat to see a glimpse from the future. This book is not nearly as "epic" as that series, but I enjoyed the action and felt it was an easy book to get into. I'm not sure that I would've enjoyed it as much without having read the Sword of Truth first as it gives many hints into that world, but doesn't really spell out the connection.

I really enjoyed this one, great sci fi read! I really wanted more at the end though, but think this may be the first in a series? I read other reviews complaining because the romance wasn't as prevelent as they thought, but I honestly didn't read it for that; I enjoyed the sci-fi/mystery/adventure aspect much more.
