What a gripping story!

This YA novel weaves in romance, mystery, suspense, and supernatural elements in such a unique way.

Steve and Genevieve were both so loveable. I especially enjoyed Steve's relationship with his grandma and seeing him try so hard to change for the better. My heart broke as he went through struggles and I was rooting for them to work it out!

The author used a lot of interesting suspense elements, such as when the readers sometimes knew more than the characters did, which really raised the tension.

All of the characters were so genuinely good, wanting to protect their families and each other. The final climax was so good!!

Well done to the author- I'm excited to read her other books. Thank you for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!

AHHHH. This book was so good. This is an excellent example of when a second book is even better than the first. Will return for a full review but for now - ALL THE STARS!

I really appreciate Adeeba's passion for raising awareness of mental health issues in general, but especially in the Muslim community. She gave us a glimpse into the eyes of three young girls dealing with pressures from family, school, and society.

I enjoyed watching the characters become more open in discussing their hardships and struggles with one another!

This was an interesting premise and book! It takes place in a future world where fertility is strained. The main character is very fertile, which means she is expected to have children. But she wants to do research and try to understand what is happening. As she gets matched with someone to have children with, the mystery gets deeper and deeper.

Alexia Muelle-Rushbrook created a detailed and immersive dystopian world! Some parts felt a little slow but I enjoyed the intrigue and the main character.

Marae is amazing!!! I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read The Burns We Carry
