thank you to netgalley and berkley publishing group for giving me an e-arc in exchange for my honest thoughts :)   sorry, bro was the kind of book i stumbled upon accidentally and just wanted to read it so bad. the idea of a closeted Nar secretly pining after and eventually falling for Erebuni while her mom is trying her hardest to set her up with an Armenian man during the Explore Armenia was just so fun!! taleen voskuni really has a real talent for making her mc so real and lived. Nar was the kind of messy queer person that we need more of!! she struggled and hurt and ultimately came out. her story was just so beautifully done.

nina rice i would die for you any day!!! this book was so so good from the very beginning. nina is the kind of character that i just couldn't help but root for after everything she had been through in her previous relationship. getting to read her story of coming back to the world after shutting herself in for so long was so wonderful. 

ari is THE book girlfriend because she would do anything for the people she cares for and is always ready to cover the bill if it means getting to spend time with somebody. plus, she just wants your dreams to come true. 

the chemistry, y'all, the CHEMISTRY from their first meeting, ari was ready to be friends or maybe more with the lovely nina.

i still have chills from ari saying "tell me you're an option."

 

amy spalding wrote an instant hit imo, so definitely pick this up for a cute, steamy, sapphic, celebrity romance!!!

karelia stetz-waters continues to amaze me!! this was such a great follow up to satisfaction guaranteed

also loved the little easter egg for sg

. what i love about behind the scenes is the progression of the relationship as well as how the characters work through their respective roadblocks to romance, it felt so real and honest. the writing for this was *chef's kiss* and had me stopping to say how good it was out loud!! it was also fun to see a different view of hollywood than actress/actor romances, ash's career as a director in the preparation stages instead of during filming was interesting. rose and ash were so cute <3 also
