If the author did not mess with the traditional time travel rules I might have enjoyed this more.

It was just okay. I felt by the end of it I did not have any more answers than I did when I started.

You can definitely tell it was written as an after thought.

Better than expected, but still somewhat predictable. The ending was sweet.

First of all, it took me almost three months to finish. The story was slow and honestly a bit confusing. And as a Black woman I expected better than this. The story hit home a little being as I am typically the only Black PERSON in the room, which made it hard to read a lot of the time. This idea though that there cannot be more than one Black woman in the room though was garbage. I’m giving it a one star because I don’t know who I would even recommend this too. Not another Black woman for sure, and certainly no other race/ethnicity as the cultural references are so deep they wouldn’t make sense to anyone. Overall, disappointing.
