I love giving gifts as books; especially for life's milestones. If I could give any of the couples' weddings whom I have had the pleasure of attending a book I would give them this one. It speaks to the TRUTH of marriage, not the vows or someone's Instagram shows.

What a GREAT book to start the year with! This should be something EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE, should read. It’s reassuring to know it’s okay to be your very own person without feeling the need to fit “the mold” of society. To be liked and “fit in” is so overrated. Be okay with being wildly yourself.
Had a lot potential for something interesting but ended up being rather predictable.
GABRIELLE UNION IS MY NEW HERO. Recommend. Highly recommend.
If you’re a fan of Lifetime (yes the television station) you’ll like this one.
Honestly, no clue who Tiffany Haddish was before this book. Shoot me. I only picked it up on a recommendation’s recommendation. Tucker Max is one of my favorite authors and I will read anything he tells me too. I really enjoyed how conversational the whole book was. I literally felt like someone was talking to me. Very candid and real - I can appreciate that. I wish I found more of the stories funny but now I understand why she does the Groupon commercials.
Ugh. I wanted to love it, I would have been happy if I just liked it. I understood the underlying messages but it was just overall weird. Too many characters that had much to do with nothing amongst a town full of secrets... wait, what.
I think I missed something with this one. All the four star ratings.... the story started out strong; couldn’t put it down. I was ready to everyone who read The Girl On The Train to pick this one up... but then I put it down. The ending I felt was rushed and I’m still not sure who the girl was in the window. I get the author wanted to send us down a rabbit hole but..... I felt like nothing was really answered except “who done it”.
