Yes. Just, yes. The people that should read something like this never will, but if you need some sense with a laugh... I'd recommend.

Another insightful read by Ms Gay. A collection of short stories that illustrate how women are products of what they're subjected to and how in many situations they continue on without missing a beat. A book for all the "difficult women" out there.

Ever wonder why certain things (books, movies, music) become popular and others don't. This is the book that does an amazing job explaining it. It's pretty much information overload, which is why it took me over a month to finish it.

* I received a digital copy of book for free in exchange for my honest review.

I'm not really sure how to rate it, or even describe it. Easy read; felt like it was actually written BY a teenager. It might be one of those books I have to re-read at some point. But I felt like a teenager again reading it; trying to related to Charlie. I remember all those feelings of trying to fit in and find your place in this world. I remember not really understanding some "grown up" things but just going with the flow because everyone else seemed to know what they were doing.

It was funny at times, but seemed mostly sad. Ah, the joys of being a teenager.

I'll definitely be seeing the movie!

The show was better. Book answered the few questions where the show fell short. In the book Hannah just came off as a whiny teenager.

Slow read, but beautifully written. A reminder to not take those around you for granted because you never know what will happen.

Typical life lessons book but HILARIOUS! It's Kevin Hart... just read it. But listen to it in audiobook. It's narrated by Kevin Hart.
