It was alright. Not as good as I had hoped it would be. Some parts were interesting and really good (but I think I only say that because I am a working mom myself so, I get "it"). There was a lot of back and forth and a lot of the time I found myself saying, alright, just get to it...
A little disappointing. Maybe because by the time I got to this one I was kind of over the "kinky fuckery". It's continuation of she disobeys, he's mad, she's mad, they fuck, it's all good. Some parts were more interesting than others. I think EL James should have just left it at the epilogue... those extra 20 pages or so were not really necessary. It was ridiculously predictable which turned me off to it as well. I guess if you've reached the third one you might as well just finish the series... but overall, wasn't overly impressed.
The concept was interesting - story told through the eyes of a child. Some times it was difficult, not knowing what he was talking about at first. Other times it was funny to hear how a child describes things. Worth the read.
I can't even describe this book. I had no idea who Jenny Lawson was... is.. until this book. Someone on Instagram posted the name of a chapter and I was intrigued. I literally found myself laughing out loud during most of the book. I thought Tucker Max was funny, he ain't got shit on Lawson. I can't recommend enough if you're in need for an awesome laugh.
Not bad. Easy read. I can't give it a proper rating or review since I started watching True Blood and all I can visualize is the on-screen characters. I kept waiting for certain things to happen that I saw in the first season. I can't say I disliked it, or that I loved it.
I can't say anything bad about Michael J Fox. I wasn't crazy about the politics section because I'm not into politicis. But overall, the book made my heart smile. Easy read.
it was actually really enjoyable. it was weird at first because it read like several short stories but once the characters started over lapping it became interesting. its one of those reads where you have to pay attention; who did what, when and where because the characters and their stories all jump around. and the way it all tied together in the end... funny, smart and sad.
I wasn't overly impressed. Goodreads suggested this book based on my reading and rating 50 Shades of Grey. I'm actually a little disappointed after reading the rave reviews it received. It doesn't compare to 50 shades, in my opinion. Will I read the second book when its released in the fall? Probably not.
to my surprise it actually wasnt that bad (ignore the fact it took me a month to read it)! I hated the Darcy character in something borrowed and for a good chunk of this one but she ended up being a likable character at the end. it was predictable. but a good wrap up to something borrowed.
if you like 50 shades of grey, you'll like this one. similar storyline but more grown up. it wasn't the same thing every other sentence, and no kinky fuckery. I like Gideon and Eva much better than Ana and Christian... looking forward to the next one. What the hell happened to Gideon??
