Had to DNF because I simply got too busy and would like to read the entire trilogy during the winter months... Will get back to it then!

I can't read a book this long with a writing style that makes me grind my teeth 😭

This book is a bit too heavy for me to tackle while in between therapists. Definitely coming back to it though!

DNF at 8%, one of the quickest DNFs I've had in a minute. Maybe I'll give it another chance, but the countless ellipses and cringe beginning really might be too much for me.

I don't have the brainpower for something like this right now lol, but I will get back to it in the future!

I keep getting pulled back to SSC. There's something there, but I just cannot stand how one dimensional the FMCs seem and how quickly the books just devolve into full-blown erotica. I would say this is the last try for me, but who knows?

I really wanted to like this book with all of the wonderful things I've heard about it, but it just wasn't clicking for me. I love the diversity and representation in the book, I just found myself not really caring about the characters or the plot -- maybe that's because I just didn't get where the story was going? But I felt I was at the climax or "a climax" of the book and still just didn't care and had to really force myself to push through it. I took a couple month break from reading and I think my disinterest in this book put me into a real slump, so I just decided not to pick it back up. There are definitely a lot of good things here and I see why people like it, I just wasn't into it myself!
