Such a lovely book, full of magic ✨️

Polly Atkin shares her encounters with the owls, through different stages of her life, that she has been lucky enough to call her neighbours.

I fell head over heels for this book & the cosy, homey writing style from the first sentence. Seeing the owls through Polly's eyes, and learning about these elusive creatures was utterly enchanting.
I read the majority of this book all in one Sunday - paired with a roast dinner & a cinema trip - and it was one of the loveliest, peaceful days I've had in a long time.

This is one of those books that just transports you straight into nature and fills you with the tranquil (and not so tranquil) sounds of the outside world. Books are often described as love letters to their subjects, but The Company Of Owls really gives that phrase a whole new meaning.

One of the most beautifully written books I have read in a very long time. You can feel every ounce of admiration Polly has for her neighbours, the owls.

A masterpiece of nature writing!

Thank you very much Elliott & Thompson for the #gifted review copy and congratulations Polly Atkin for writing such a gorgeous book - it's heading straight for my forever shelf.
