Beautifully written with really amazing characters, but I feel like I missed something it was trying to convey. 

I had a hard time rating this one. What I could make out of the story was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the volume and clarity of the audio of the narrator to the audio of the cast was horrible. I had the option of deafening myself with the narrator by turning the volume up - but then I could clearly make out the cast, or keeping the narrator at a comfortable level, and missing about a quarter of the cast dialogue. 

I really loved this story. Taking many familiar fairy tales and fables, mixing them up, and flipping them around brought a crazy adventure showing that love will prevail, but only if we let it. The valiant horse cloak repeatedly steals the show, and was a wonderful comedic element. While the prince and princess had a more modern attitude even though they were navigating a tradition fairy tale land.

Andien was a very well-written space marine. She was tough and stayed on track with her mission, while doing everything she could to make sure her men came back alive. Befriending a group of Legionnaires opens the audience to a world of extreme mental and physical capabilities - an ultra elite group of men (and only men) that seem capable of anything. This felt like an origin story for Andien so I didn't get to see too much outside her introduction and rise to something maybe more, but I really enjoyed getting to know her.

This felt like a very complete chronicle of the life (at least the more important bits) of Prince Albert. Covering aspects of his life from before his marriage and life in England, to the ways he could influence and help direct the development of England in the ways of art, architecture, and technology.

The goal of this story was to make Cruella a more sympathetic character, but I feel like it really just highlighted her privilege and all the chances the people in her life gave her to change and grow up a little. Her mother was quite a piece of work, and I can see how that had some very major effects on her personality and need to be loved. Much ado was made about a certain piece of jewelry, and I *think* I have a clue how it may tie in, but we'll see if it comes up in later stories.
