This is my second book by Denise Williams and she’s absolutely incredible! The characters are loveable, the story is sweet, and the pacing is perfect! This book was a bit harder to read just by the nature of some of the back story. Content warning for abuse (physical and emotional). I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This was a fun story but I think the pacing was off for me, personally. The story felt really long, and it is on the longer side for most romances I see. About 75% of the way into the book I was wondering when the whole fake dating thing would blow up in their faces and it seemed a little like that plot line kind of just got forgotten. It's mentioned that Huxley has a reputation and is known and seen in Page 6, but somehow that never really is relevant during their fake engagement. While I enjoyed reading it, I think I would have liked a different balance of romance and conflict.

I finished this book in one sitting, just like Neon Gods.  I absolutely love this modern retelling of Greek myths.  The Olympus that Katee Robert creates in her Dark Olympus series is so much fun! I love the story between Eros and Psyche, it made me absolutely giddy.  I know the next book isn't centered around Callisto, but I'm really hoping that we get stories about the other Dimitriou sisters!  But dying to get book three now too!

I was planning on finishing the series this year and thought to read this novella before continuing but this was pretty disappointing. A fourth of the book was a preview for another book. And of the three stories, two could have been part of one of the other books and the third reminded me that I’m not a fan of Schuyler and Jack. This actually kind of dragged and discouraged me from want to read the last couple of books in the series.

I only picked this up because Captain America said he liked it in some interview. I’m sorry Chris. I couldn’t do it. This book dragged and if I had to put it into a genre it would be people who think really highly of themselves rambling. Life is too short and I finally decided to just let this one go.

I love Mitch! It was great having already been familiar with this super lovable dude from the first two books.  I didn't expect to love him even more to be honest.  This was just a really sweet and enjoyable execution for the fake dating trope, which I think I'm going to have to seek out more of.  Also just realized there will be another book in the series and I'm excited!

Oh man.  I really do love Stacey and I totally felt her on feel like she was stuck while the rest of the world was moving forward.  And especially the scrolling and social media being a crutch during all of that.  I kind of feel like the resolution in this book was a bit too easy going, but maybe that's just me personally.  But as always, love the characters.  I adore Mitch and am so glad the next book will be centered around him!

Am I the only one who imagined Jocelyn from Schitt’s Creek every time Stacy was present? If they make this a movie please let her be cast as Stacy. This was a really sweet story, with so many lovable characters.  And I’m so glad the following books will hop around to the secondary characters I loved!

This was a fun part of the story. I feel like the pacing is great for kids.

Picked this up to read along with my niece. Great story and this one is a bit more action packed than the first which I think mostly set the scene
