Really enjoyed this. The first 100 pages felt really slow but then I couldn't put it down after. Lowe is sweet and dominating. Can't wait to see if she writes more and makes this a series 

I had high hopes for this book and while I found it interesting and very fast paced read I was overall disappointed in the ending. 

Pirates and magic and a mystery. Great ya fantasy with tons of different fantasy species mixed in. Will definitely read the second book

This was a reread for me because I love this series so so much. Over a year later and I still think about this book and the anguish I felt for Raven. And I felt again in my reread

Well this was just too cute. I laughed, I cried  and I spent 65% of this book with a goofy smile on my face. I can't wait for more from this series this was so so good. 

I love this series and I'm so sad that this is the final book. I have loved Carys from the very first book and finally getting her story was bittersweet because it meant it was over. The depth of carys amazed me, her depression felt realistic even though it's a fantasy, the hurt she felt from being lied to hit me in the soul. Si was dreamy and cocky enough to be a great male lead but also a male lead with a disability. And the spice was top tier

Mix VE Schwabs vicious with a darker shade a magic and you get Evocation. I loved this and can't wait for the next one. 

While I was disappointed to find out that this book was not heavy on the romance I ended up loving this book and look forward to reading the next ones. The detective work with a splash of fantasy and a dash of romance. It was so intriguing and had me guessing who the killer was well past the half way mark

Fun but informative. Really relatable especially as someone whose spouse, sister and best friend all have adhd and who all show it in different ways. 

I couldn't put this down. I loved the dual pov and dual time lines. Elliot is dreamy and I loved him from the very beginning. I loved that he falls first and falls harder.
