Another great volume with a rather touching moment at the end. Continuing to work for the family, we learn more about the inner workings of a diving business and how it goes. It's a ton of fun, and watching a Wingman try to be a wingman when he's a fucking idiot 95% of his life is pretty great. A ending that surprised me and to learn more about the mother was really nice. A 4 out of 5.

Captain America by Mark Waid finishes here and basically same feelings I had through the whole run.

Decent.

This just have Steve doing Steve things. Going around dealing with politics, trying to solve America's issues, both big and small, and the return of Red Skull because...why not. Dude only dies and comes back 1 billion times.

But yeah it's okay. The best parts are when Waid can write a simple story about Steve trying to help people make it in America. Better than the zanny over the top plots of going through times and eras that never happened.

Overall decent, but not one I'd re-read. A 2.5 out of 5.

A whole new universe? This went a different direction than I expected but I'm just as intrigued. So nice to see The Maker back.

Sometimes hard to follow. Art is also inconsistent as hell. Sometimes amazing. Sometimes bad. I get some made in the 80's and 90's verses some done now however it was distracting. Also plot is simple.

What worked though? The relationship. I felt it through these pages. I also loved the way Eric just killed guys without remorse, because it's what they deserved, and you felt the revenge and anger through each kill. What they did to him and his wife was inexcusable and a easy death would be too small for them. I loved watching each get killed the way they deserved.

I also liked the old art. Felt indie, felt like a passion project. Felt right. I wish they added the extra pages, the modern art, for the end. It would have felt better as a "bonus" verses mixing it together.

I think people should read this for simple fact it hits a lot of it's marks. I think if I read a different collection I'd rate it a tad bit higher. Still, it's a emotional story with a lot of heart behind it. Which makes it a must read even if don't love every moment.

Whoa it was already good and then the reveal…I’m in!!!

First half I was pretty in. I really liked John Ostrander stuff. I think in general the guy just knows how to write compelling situations and plots for characters, even ones I don't care for as much. But the whole idea a crazy guy is taking the Batman and making it his own while another is writing a comic inside the universe is a lot of fun. Then we have a couple of decent one shots. Then we get into Milligan's stuff and honestly it bored me to death. I was not feeling that at all. A 2.5 out of 5.

A solid issue where Jon Learns alot more about each side and Damien being a royal dick. Art little iffy tho.

A nice step up from previous few issues. Lots of heart, Jimmy actually has an adorable relationship, and...I felt bad for Lex at the end? I'm liking where we're going here.

This is the craziest title to a manga that is SO wholesome. But it really is wholesome.

Basically Takumi finally gets the courage to ask out Ayako because he just can't give up his love for her. However, poor Takumi gets sick but Ayako comes to try and help him and hilarity begins.

This is just super cute, all the characters are great, it's not too raunchy but not pg, and it just has a lot of great cute moments. Def my go to after sweat and soap ended.

Not as fun as the last few issues, but still good. Art as always is great and the mystery and Bruce's twist is nice. Still a really really solid series.
