Another great volume.

I think the thing with this series is the excellent main lead and her supporting cast. This time we had a lot of cute stories, one with the fatty who our main lead finally sleeps with. It's cute. There's also another one at the start that was funny as hell with her being in cat ears.

Then there's the piece of shit, gotta show I'm the big tough guy, who's disgusting and a piece of shit. I'll be honest this scene was not easy to read and I really didn't like it, but understood why it was done to show the contrast of how some guest of the sex shop are fine, normal, and cute and others are pieces of shit.

Overall, still a way better series than I ever expected. A 4 out of 5.

Starting to wonder if New Mutants just isn't for me. Another boring volume mixed with future versions of characters dealing with past. Nothing really was that interesting, not offensively bad, just boring as hell.

Cool to see 43 artist in a two part story. Basically new artist every 2 pages. But story was dull as can be.

A solid ending, more of a ending to Eternals storyline by Gillen than anything. Basically the Eternals trying to find their place in the world after the events of AXE, and it's pretty intriguing and a great part at the start made me feel things, so that's a plus.

Bro this mother is HORRIBLE.

After all this, the kid is breaking day by day. Afraid of his own mother. But it's not till this volume where the metaphorical knife is plunged into his heart. This is fucked.

This was actually really solid, and the ending is shocking, even though I knew it was coming. Peter dealing with Ptsd is great. All around, great teamup turn to verses issue.

Whew...was falling asleep reading this one.

This is just a teen drama mixed in with hominoid animals...nothing special. It's not the worst thing, and the first chapter is solid, but it slowly goes downhill and gets boring quick. The art is solid enough though. A 2 out of 5.

A decent collection I was enjoying but then Blind Justice came in and shit man, if that didn't bore the hell out of me. I felt really bad dropping this from a 3 out of 5 to 2 but Blind justice really hurt it for me in terms of wanting to re-read this entire collection ever again.

Saga still remains to be one of the greatest comics of the 2010's. It's smart, heartfelt, emotional, and well written with amazing art. By the 8th volume you'd expect it to get pretty bad but NOPE.

So just a short thing. I'm not going to get in to this long backstory on me. We went through a major event this last week and the pain felt is very similar to what happened at the end of volume 7. So I won't lie, I was a bit afraid to read volume 8 because I wasn't sure I could handle it emotionally. I'm really glad I did because this brought up a lot of hope that kind of made my day a lot better.

Alana and Marko are dealing with the loss of their child. However, the harsh reality is they have to make sure they remove the miscarriage before Alana gets sick. However, at 8 months, this isn't so easy. Especially when traveling with Marko, since he's a species Alana's kind would like to murder. Oh yes, and their hybrid child Hazel!

While we get that we also focus on some story with the Will, find out what happened from last volume, and some of his past. Also a little bit of Price Robot and of course his child who we've haven't seen in awhile too.

Good: The art is stunning to say the least. Will that ever change? Hopefully not. Hazel and her parents on a trip together was perfect, and truly showed you need family (and sometimes friends) to help you get through tough times. That only together you can come to accept horrible events. I also loved the last issue of happiness and hope, and then the last shot was great. Brought all the feelings of love and joy I wanted.

Bad: The Will has probably least interesting chapter. While there's some cool shots of the past, and moving his story forward, I feel very little to what happens to him at the moment.

Overall this was a wonderful volume of trying to come to terms of horrible moments in life. When it comes to it you must push forward, and think of the future, and that is the best message you could have after the horrible events of volume 7. This was a recovery volume but one very much worth reading. A 4.5 out of 5.

A solid comeback for Gail.

She had left the Birds of Prey title after years of crafting something special. With New 52 not far from now, she returned to the title of Birds of Prey to give these girls the much needed boost. This time Black Canary facing against WHITE Canary, Barbara dealing with past sins, and Huntress, well Huntress just being a badass.

Some really fun fights here, lot of good emotional payoff. I'd say the weakest part was probably Barbara's story but by the end it had a interesting resolution. Not sure where to go from here but enjoyable so far return for Gail on the Birds of Prey title. A 3.5 out of 5.
