Amazing art work, ok story, kind of bored. Movie looks a lot better though. Yeah...don't have much to say on this one lol.
Breaks my heart to give a Sandman volume a low score but I did NOT like this volume.
With the exception of the Prez storyline I found a lot of these "Stories" kind of boring. Sure, they all have to do with Dream or one of his family members in the end but a lot of them are just kind of dull. Maybe I just didn't care for the actual stories the characters were telling. The art itself was great, and you got to see different styles and lifetimes so that was cool but I couldn't get into any of the stories with the exception of Prez storyline. The rest bored me to tears and took me a long time to finish.
Sadly, the first bad Sandman book for me. 2 out of 5.

Rereading the Red Rising series this was a lot of fun to read in a prequel fill in the blanks sort of way.
It's really great to see Fitchner in action. Dude was brutal and he did whatever he had to do to get things done. What's most fun of reading this is how similar he is to Darrow, but lacks the "strength" darrow head in force but he's just as cunning if not more. So he uses his brains to get what he wants, and pushes him forward to meet his old friend once more. The one who cut down and killed his wife from the previous books.
Overall, really good stuff. I can't say I love the art. I think the art gives a good look to the overall world but the faces and action lack anything worth mentioning. Though I'll say baby Goblin is adorbs. But overall it's still worth reading for Red Rising fans. I liked this one even more than the previous volume. Red rising fans check it out.

This finishes up the last arc and it's so great to see the 3 work as a badass team.
Then we get some relax time with a girl crushing on Itadori and it's adorable and funny and a much needed breather from the intensity of the last arc. Then we stop and go back in time to see Gojo and what happened in his past, and it's all pretty great to see how different yet how similar he really is at both parts. I also am eager to see how his power developed into what he can do now.
So yeah, another great volume. This series has been really stepping up.

Holy fucking shit, carnage and death everywhere.
With our main hero going face to face with another demon can he win this time? When the fight ends, the real story just begins. People getting squashed out of nowhere, the hottie Makima shows off why she runs the show and it is scary as hell. Denji and Power get introduced to a old geezer who's a bit crazy but teaches them plenty. Aki exacts revenge or begins to form his plan after the death of a loved one.
Everything, plot included, move ahead in this awesome action packed volume. Chainsaw man is wild, weird, and I can't put it down.

Whoa, this MIGHT be my favorite volume so far.
We get Gojo backstory here and holy shit is it sad/epic. Just when I thought the fight scenes couldn't be topped, the brutality of scenes, this volume tops it. Brutal deaths throughout as we also get the background to Toji and just how powerful he really is. We also get the background of Geto and what broke him to turn him into the person he is today. So many characters broken and breaking in this series is that when we DO get to present time it is even sadder.
I'm really loving this current last two volumes. Give me more, give me more, Jujutsu is some prime ass good SHIT!

Holy shit Gege art is getting better and better as the fights become more brutal and stunning all at once.
The start of this volume picks up where the last one left off and Kokichi Muta goes head to head with Mahito in a gundam like battle that's fucking insane yet glorious. By the end I was in shock who lived and who died.
Then we divert our attention to Gojo who's underground in a subway dealing with three powerful spirits/curses. Hanami, Jogo, and then Choso. With all three attacking him Gojo has his hands filled but when he stops playing around we see just how powerful the master is.
You also have Itadori working with two other students to take down curses and you get to see one of my favorite new curses, Mr. Grasshopper.
This was exciting, fun, badass, bloody, and surprising all at once. GIVE ME MORE JUJU!!!!

Here's the thing with naruto...it has pacing issues.
This volume has everyone in their units now working towards their own goal. But it feels like it moves at a slower paced than needed. Luckily though when Sasuke finally gets to fighting bird man and Obito the fight picks up the pace in the best way giving us a damn entertaining fight. But the whole moppy thing, planning slowly, and not getting much done this volume is a little annoying till then. A 3 out of 5.

Who knew a Rom-Com volume would be one of the best for this action packed weird as shit series.
The first part deals with Aki getting his revenge. Denji of course gives us some laughs as well as Power. The fight is great and Denji is for sure getting stronger. Then we move on to Denji's first real date with Makima and it's super adorable even if I don't fully trust her. But what happen when he meets Reze? A girl that Denji begins to fall for as well.
A nice laid back arc with some good action, funny moments, and a twist I didn't see coming. Chainsaw Man is just a damn good time.

Hell's Paradise continues to be weird, strange, very violent, and yet I can't stop reading.
While maybe not as good as volume 1 the high energy this manga gives off is undeniable. The vicious fights both our Ninja/Samurai warrior have to go through to survive is great. Not to mention the sad but solid ending to a foe who might not have been so bad despite his actions. We also see a little "fuck you this is my own destiny" here. Though I have a feeling if this was in a marvel comic people would be claiming this writer is SJW for putting in the fact a Woman stands up to a man for telling her she's nothing more than a woman and her destiny is to breed and not fight. But you know, the online is filled with losers anyway.
Still this is a fun volume with brutal fights and plenty of plot progression for other characters. Even a psycho pair of twins. I'm excited to see where we go next.
