2025 Review - Not too far off from my original review. This one is funny as heck with the "team up" in this volume. And there's some good moments with Foggy and the past. But the final arc is just okay with some great moments (Yes, Iron Man still has a awesome badass moment).

Spider-man: Oookkkaayyy....

This volume cracked me the fuck up. I loved the first half of this. Punisher, DD, and Spider-man all team up and the hilarity doesn't let up thanks to Spider-man and Punisher's opposite personality. I also loved the shit out of the art here, and everything flowed real well.

The second half wasn't as good. Daredevil backstory with Foggy was great but the second half of him being kidnapped just didn't jive well with me. Felt off, not all that interesting, and besides that Badassssss Iron-man moment I wasn't feeling it too much.

Overall it was a very fun volume, with a bit of a slow ending. A 3.5 out of 5.

This one we get more of a sad back ground on a character who thought of her as a Angel. We then jump back into the present day where Nasa and the other boy about to go head to head in exams. Another very fun volume, funny slang moment, and cuteness all around. A 4 out of 5.

This was a big surprise for me.

We have our main lead Yoon-Sook who can see "strings" on people. Blue strings attach from one person to another letting her know those two did the dirty deed. But the Black String on someone means they murdered someone or will. It's a fun story to be had here when Yoon-Sook see a black string on her. Fast paced, funny, and solid art (Though sometimes the faces go haywire) all make for an enjoyable comic. While I feel sometimes we move TOO quick to let things settle in, we have to wrap it up in the set amount of issues given. Overall a fun time. A 4 out of 5.

Well this was something. I enjoyed parts a lot. The Damien storyline was short, but fun, and went quickly. The introduction of crazed police dressed in bat suits was cool. Batman sure got his shit rocked plenty of times. Always loved to see that. The biggest story that failed was the scooby doo storyline in the middle. What the hell was that? Did anyone like it? I was finding myself struggling to get through that part. Either way, for the price, get ton of content, and it's not horrible. So that's something.

This….is awful. What ending was that? After all that build up Tarzan is nothing?

A team up issue that lacks a bite…meh

Daredevil #220 is a refreshing return to form after a series of lackluster issues. The art by David Mazzucchelli is striking, perfectly capturing the emotional depth of the story. The tale itself is a tragic one, focusing on themes of loss and mortality, which hit hard and resonate deeply. Overall, it's a standout issue that makes up for the missteps of previous installments.

Daredevil #221 kicks off and concludes with solid storytelling, delivering powerful moments. However, the middle section takes a jarring turn, feeling more like a Saturday morning cartoon than a serious comic, which undermines the overall tone. Dumbass villain basically. While the issue has potential, the tonal shift makes it feel uneven and less impactful than it could have been.
