I really love how dark this gets. This poor child assassin really has issues but the fight scenes are both quickly paced, really bloody at times, and brutal. I have to give props to the artist, they sure know how to do a good action scene. I also like the relationship between the two main leads, as he's almost a grandpa/father figure to the girl. I really dislike the unneeded panty shots, but this is Japan, and it won't stop. That much I can count on.
A bloody and brutal first issue. This wolverine is used as a tool by some evil fucks. The artwork is also great here, and some sad deaths. Overall intrigued where we go from here.
New Review 2025: Still kind of feel the same as before. I like a lot of this, especially the first half. But the stuff with Nuke feels oddly done and not fully flushed out. So it lands around a 3.5.
Original Review: Born again is another solid daredevil story from Frank Miller.
Alot of people claim Frank made daredevil. I'd say he started the foundations but other people have done the character better (Bendis/Ed) but I still enjoyed what I got here.
What I liked: The story arc involving Born again, the breakdown of Matt's mentality, and the wrath of Kingpin is both interesting and scary. Even the way they put fear into everyone Matt's near is scary. I love watching Matt fight with his internal thoughts of loss and betrayal. Watching it is so interesting and sad and watching a man overcome that is great.
What I disliked: The story with Nuke. There's moments of greatness but mostly it feels very odd. I get the kingpin sent him to take out Daredevil but this is after the breakdown. So it's not as interesting. Also Cap's moments feel oddly placed in a Daredevil story. Also the very last arc was just not that interesting.
Overall born again stuff - 4 out of 5. The rest? 2-2.5/5. Still worth reading if you have not.

Was not a fan of the reveal of who Batman was. I also didn't like how Green Arrow went about his way at the end. Did really like Mister Miracle here though.
Again, like the stuff with Mr. Miracle. And Poor Wally. Rest was just okay.

DNF don't this is for me.
Meh, dreamy sequence didn't do much for me. Kind of felt like a floaty type story where catch things the deeper you look into it, but I never felt the need. It was the weakest think Miller wrote on daredevil by a long shot.
Really liked this issue. Got Green Arrow being his awesome self, stating the truth. Got Arrow the doggie to the rescue. Got a killer coming for people. A dark opening. Yeah this is a great change of pace for Green Arrow.
Info dump galore. This is the weakest issue of the series so far. Saying that I really like the changes to characters, especially Captain Marvel. Can't wait to see more of them.
I think this series isn't do big things for me like everyone else. Another decent issue, I enjoyed the stuff with Bruce and his dad a lot but the stuff with Batman was just okay. It just lacks the punch and interest I had since issue 1. A 3 out of 5.
