An okay follow-up for part 2. It was just not as fun and well written as the first part. Dr. Strange back in the day is weird and zanny and makes little sense, and same really here.
Ghost Rider having to deal with Dr. Strange can be a lot of fun. Especially right after nightmare, but the story never goes anywhere big.
Back to the more grounded feel which I love. On top of that Danny is stretching himself way too thin trying to be a hero. And it looks like Blaze is back in the building. Good stuff ahead I hope!
Blaze and Danny go head to head in a battle of who's the tougher "hero"? Basically Johnny without his powers lays the smackdown most of the time against Danny. However, it's great to see a back and forth action heavy issue.
Fun little collection of creepy horror short stories. I really enjoyed some like the story of the kid pushing the carts into the wrong lane and the monster under the bed one. Some were too on the nose like the burning books one. But overall fun horror stories for the whole family!
DC vs Vampires: World War V (2024-) #2
Matthew Rosenberg, Matthew Rosenberg, Tyler Boss, Otto Schmidt
Setting up the war that is coming. Some interesting things like vampires building up plants? I also really enjoyed the ending and felt scared for Alfred. Good stuff overall.
Awesome fight with blackout. Loved Johnny and Danny teaming up. Art is wonderful too. Series really is at its finest right now.
Little jumpy with pace but love Blaze teaching Danny and the return of psycho ass Hobgoblin.
A really solid ending to a cute series. I love books where we go towards happy endings and this one had a lot of hurdles to get through for this couple but glad they did. A cute, sexy, fun series well worth reading!
I just couldn't seem to get into this one.
I think the idea of a uptight, can't let anyone see who I really am, girl who comes out as truly a weirdo can be a really fun concept. The problem is neither character is really doing much for me. Their connection feels more like just for a sketch comedy segment instead of actual people. I will say though the art is solid, but that's about all this one did for me sadly.
