The battle lines are drawn. I'm not sure I can too much about the baddies, but Having Wonder Woman with her girlies fucking shit up? Yeah, I'm down for that.
Wonder Woman vs a big bitch and her friends. Some epic as hell fights here, and a great last stand, overall great issue. Oh and the backup? FUCKING ADORABLE>>>>>> I love Damien and Jon as babysitters.
The return of Moon Knight!!!! Maybe? Great showcase for the side characters.
New Warriors Classic Omnibus Vol. 2
Brandon McKinney, Richard Pace, Chris Marrinan, Fabian Nicieza, Darick Robertson, Craig Brasfield
Sadly New Warriors does get caught up in a couple of meh crossovers, but when it's not? Oh man is it FIRE.
Basically continues the adventures of our new team, or more of a family now. And Thrasher even goes off on his own at points, we do get his mini series, but also his own series starts (he'll get his own New Warriors OMnibus side stories) as well as Nova. But both are pretty big here, aswell as Nita, Marvelboy, and more.
The relationships in this series are really well done. These are all young adults or late teens, and their problems and issues all made sense. But their dynamic together, how they feel like a family and a team works so well. I'll be frank this is probably the best team outside of runaways to relate to Teen Titans for Marvel.
On top of that I really enjoyed the growth of Thrasher, Rage, Nova, and Firestarter here. ALL of them got some great character development and had to mature in great ways. Also the art is wonderful most of the time, over the top, but fits the themes and designs of the stories and characters.
The best storylines were dealing with going oversea and dealing with a issue, that results in the government checking the New Warriors. Another great storyline was Rage's growth as a character, and how he's doing with learning history, past, and dealing with his rage. Thrasher becoming less violent, unless you trip him up. And Fire Starter dealing with her father being injured. All great stuff.
The crossovers are terrible at points, the X-Force storyline in particular was horrendous and a waste of time. Luckily once that's done it gets a lot better. The other crossover with Night Trasher and Nova single series worked well for each character but also waaaaay too long at times.
Overall worth a read if liked volume 1. A 3.5 out of 5. I'll bump it to a 4.

Good build up issue. We knew Supes and Bats couldn't stop all those heroes so they did get kidnapped but the Superman/Batman of this Kingdom Come Universe aren't as dumb as others have thought. Learning the history of Gog, things about to get interesting.
God this is such a epic arc. Two superman's up for the Job to stop Gog. The ending is also a great cliffhanger. Waid is KILLING this run.
Great ending, wonderful way to wrap up David's storyline. I really really want to read Kingdom Come again. Mark waid basically wrote half this run as a prologue to Kingdom Come and it didn't feel like it retconned anything, so nice to see.
Really enjoyed this one. Seeing a green lantern switch between Green and Yellow (Will/Fear) powers is interesting. Hal was pretty dope this issue. Backup story with Kyle, as a huge Kyle fan, worked really well. The Alex scene was so damn good. A 4 out of 5.
The shot of the multiple thors was dope as fuck. But this series feels very....padded.
New Review - I'd probably bump it to a 3.5, almost a 4. I really enjoyed my time this time around. I think the character of Heath grew on me, and the over the top action mixed with quick paced kept it good. A little too much internal dialogue and talking, but this is early Remender.
Original Review - 3 out of 5 - Probably one of Rick's weaker works, but hell, it's still pretty fun.
So there used to be exterminators. People who would go around the universe and take out species that are considered bad, or that could hurt others, but they're all gone now. There's one left, or least shown, in this series. Heath Huston starts off as a comedy-sci-fi adventure. However the last two issues seem to take a darker tone, a time bending change, and by the end some shit goes down that sets up the future of this series in a interesting way.
Good: The art is pretty solid. It's by Tony Moore, the guy who did Walking Dead, and it has a lot of facial expressions plastered on there. I also thought the comedy stuff was funny and I actually like Heath Huston, plus it was nice when he himself knew he was being a dick. The first 2-3 issues were a lot of fun.
Bad: The last two issues had a ton of exposition and kind of bored me really at points. The very end brought me back to being intrigued but it did get to far up it's own ass to stay interesting at times which sadden me, also the woman character, who I can't even recall her name, seemed oddly placed here.
Overall this was a fun space adventure but it lacked the punch I hoped for. With the ending leaving for interesting possibilities though I'm ready for another one. A 3 out of 5.
