Series getting a little to meh now. It started off fun but nothing is happening and characters are acting way off the wall now.
Komi has issues balancing it's actual cute stuff and stuff that just lands flat.
The school/maid stuff wasn't that funny and went on for way too long. With the exception of the main guy dressed as a maid, that was pretty funny. The best chapters is Komi having her issues talking, and also one with a storm where she's stuck in the house all day talking to her crush on the phone. That chapter hit good.
Never bad but not as great as it could be, Komi remains solid.

Still really cute.
This one feels a bit more straight forward than last volume though. The typical dad coming into the picture and not trusting the boyfriend. Which semi-worked here only cause the characters are all fun. I also liked the ending, where fame might get in the way of dating. The age gap is big but for some reason I guess cause they're presented as more innocent love, it works well.

So we finally get the big reveal of why Kou is the way he is now.
It all makes sense. Even if it's typical loss makes you bitter storyline I like how it was mostly address here. The best part was Yuri being honest with herself and trying to take her first step into love...failing...but also the bond with Futaba still worked well. I also like Futaba, she's a cry baby, but always fun to see. Overall a solid volume once more with a interesting ending. Maybe Kou finally making his move.

Carried heavy by the interesting art, and cool idea of a underwater predator, this story doesn't reinvent the wheel but it's a solid bloody tale of a predator leading his prey into a underwater massacre, picking them off one by one. It's cool, almost paint like art, helps this one stand out. The characters though? Kind of lifeless.
I was kind of taken aback on this one. I didn't know it was a gag manga.
Gag manga's aren't always my thing. A lot of time, the "funny" bits aren't as funny as I hoped. But things like One Punch Man and especially blue grand dreaming, to showcase that manga/anime can be very funny. Luckily Mashle joins them as extremely well done gags at points.
Basically this kid is extremely strong and OP, but can't do any magic. He enters a school of magic. So you can assume this is gonna be over the top, stupid, and very fun, and it is. Some really epic moments split up between some great laughs, and solid art, make this a way better read than I ever expected.

My lord. This is everything I want in a spidy book.
Great character moments? Yes
Amazing art? Yes
Kingpin scary? Yes
Green Goblin and Spidy team up?
Give me 100 issues of this quality please

This one disappointed me.
It's weird cause I think Volume 1 is a banger. The team stayed the same for both America and Europe. But for some reason some of these stories (especially Europe) really missed the mark. I reviewed a lot of the individual issues, and some still were great. Especially Glory Bound coming in, or the nobody becoming a major villain, or just general life of heroes on vacation. Those slice of life issues work really well.
But JLE issues when they went to multi-issued stories really didn't work. Especially a certain time travel story really sucked it out of me to continue reading. It took me forever to get through those issues, which slowed down my reading experience.
Overall still solid overall even with the weaker issues. I hope volume 3 brings it back up to full on enjoyment like Volume 1 did though. A 3 out of 5.

This was good but felt little odd in pacing. Things jumped around alot, months ahead. Maybe to address the age gap more, not too sure.
Either way the parts when they got to go on their date or at the match are still really cute and well done, and the last volume I guess is the last? So I assume something serious moving forward. Maybe a big time skip? Either way it's a cute series but doesn't stay as strong as it starts sadly.
