A HALF WAY decent Azrael story? The fuck?
This is a good jumping on point. It catches you up to know Azrael and he's not that interesting for me but the art is really solid and the ending does build up bringing in one of my favorite new characters from the Joker series. So color me atleast intrigued.

This is still one of the cutest and wholesome mangas out there.
Yukiko finally decides to push to get a job. Which leads to some really sad, but also really great situations where she must overcome public preception of her. On top of that her Boyfriend always being in her corner is really charming and makes for a great power couple. Also another character coming out is handled really well.
Overall great manga.

Overall great manga.
Probably the best part of this Omnibus yet still a shallow version of Doug's original run sadly.
Intense with a lot of murder and mayhem.
So basically a rebirth is happening but that's almost in the background as Guts goes face to face with the religious insane people to try and rescue Casca. Some insane fights, bloody moments, and a interesting if not slightly confusing ending that ends this arc and is about to begin a new one! The next arc is the last one I read but excited to re-read it almost 15+ years later.

A stronger second part to what will be a big crossover for Justice League America and Europe. This time we have a lot more comedy including Power Girl throwing Flash and Blue Beetle pissing off Batman, my life is complete.
A solid story that would end up between a 3-3.5. I think the first half is really strong, a survival of a father and his two kids in a very cold, bitter world, is a lot of fun. However, the second half, though it has moments of great human connection also lacks the punch of the first half and becomes a bit to convoluted by the end.
Every issue has been great and it continues. The fights, the awesome character work, that fucking ending. I need MORE.
Okay, the story itself seems interesting but the art isn't my cup of tea.
Uneven but overall solid run. Basically the start are personal, darker stories of the after effects of war and also living a street life. It gets Tony's personal side down and actually works well. Second half feel smore superheroish and while fun it's not nearly as investing. Overall a 3 out of 5.
Building upon the first volume we get into depression, loss of purpose, and back stabbing.
Char really gets to showcase himself here, a cunning, sexy, piece of flying turd shit he is. He's got a lot of layers, scheming at all times, while also always wanting to have the absolute power in the room. I love how he works and thinks, and makes for a excellent villain.
On the other hand Amaro is going through it. Dealing with depressing and not wanting to be used as a tool yet the only one to be able to pilot the Gundam like he does, it leads to a lot of great questions. He goes back to earth to see his mother, but this may not be the reunion he hoped.
Great look into war, loss, and of course kids and young adults being used as props and tools to win something almost unwinnable. Excellent stuff.
